Our services include excavating, concrete services, asphalt services, heavy civil construction, aggregates, float services, rock breakers, landscaping sand, gravel, and topsoil, and snow removal services.

We are currently recruiting for Loader Operators. These are full-time, seasonal positions working up to 55 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Strip and rip materials, slope, cut to fill, finish grade and place topsoil.
• Operate the onboard scale.
• Assist ground personnel when required.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, meticulously examining tracks, fluids, lights and hydraulics to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
• Adhere to project specifications and guidelines to maintain quality standards.
• Champion our safety culture by adhering to McCrea’s safe work procedures and PPE policies.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and independently take ownerships of tasks.

• A minimum of two years of experience on a loader.
• Able to operate an excavator of various sizes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Proven experience as a loader operator in heavy civil earthworks, construction, heavy civil pipe work, mining, road construction or oilfield maintenance services industry is an asset.
• Must provide CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots.
• Valid driver’s licence; AZ license is an asset.

Wages commensurate with experience.
