We are currently recruiting for a Press Operator Assistant. This is a temporary, contract position for 90 days.

The Press Operator Assistant assists the Press Operator in the material feeding of a 1,000-ton hydraulic press which is used for cutting and bending various metals, using appropriate programs.

• Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in metal fabricating
• Able to use various measuring tools and be able to perform shop math
• A mechanical background with manufacturing experience is desired
• High school diploma
• Close attention to detail
• Able to complete work within an expected period of time
• Strong ability to communicate positively with colleagues
• Familiarity with health and safety programs, policies and procedures
• Familiarity with quality control systems is an asset
