Mativ is a worldwide leading manufacturer of bonding and adhesive components and solutions for the healthcare, industrial and transportation markets.

We are currently recruiting for a Material Handler for our Renfrew manufacturing site. This is a full-time position.

Incumbents will be responsible for the following:

• Maintaining levels of inventory items for work in progress (i.e. getting various requested materials ordered by machine operators)
• Working in cooperation with the garbage truck operator to empty waste bins daily
• Preparing waste products for shipments
• Assisting with the organization of materials including bin relocation, combining bin contents, and inventory checks
• Weighing and storing materials in designated locations
• Assisting the shipping department
• Printing ID labels for materials
• Always keeping the general aisles clear and clean
• Keeping the warehouse manager informed of any irregularities related to inventory
• Contributing to other duties as required

• Willing and available to work, on average, 14 days per month, working rotating 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts)
• Basic computer knowledge and the ability to perform basic computer functions
• Ability to work within a team
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
• Grade 12 education
• Manufacturing or forklift experience is an asset
• Basic math with testing is required

Compensation package:

• Pay rates: $24.07 to $26.23 per hour
