We are currently recruiting a Machine Operator-Machinist. This is a full-time position.

Duties of this position include:

• Operating mills, surface grinders and lathes to produce precision components
• Interpreting drawings and instructions and determining appropriate tolerances
• Setting up machines to perform production processes
• Using instruments such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, indicators and other specialized instruments
• Improve machining methods for higher-quality output
• Repair mechanical problems and perform preventative maintenance
• Ensuring adherence to safety protocols

• Experience working in a machine shop
• Demonstrated skills in reading blueprints
• Able to use machine shop measuring instruments
• Ability to set up machine tools and work independently
• HASS lathe experience is an asset
