Our dedicated workforce consists of a general manager, operations manager, controller, equipment manager, estimators, project managers, project coordinators, quality control technicians, foremen, grademen, skilled labourers, heavy equipment operators, heavy equipment mechanics, and licensed vehicle mechanics. The abilities of our experienced team allows us to safely and successfully execute complex projects that possess both challenging operational constraints, tight timelines and multiple diverse operations throughout the project.
We are currently recruiting for a 310T Mechanic. This is a full-time position to be based in either Renfrew or Petawawa.
Job Duties:
- Work safely and efficiently as a mechanic on job sites and at the BEI shops in Renfrew and Petawawa
- Provide service support for various equipment
- Coach and assist operators with daily inspections and maintenance
- Monitor the performance of equipment to maintenance requirements in a proactive manner
- Perform breakdown maintenance in an expeditious manner
- Perform physical work, sometimes working outdoors including in extreme weather conditions
- Be responsible for personal safety, the safety of coworkers and the general public
- Able to follow training and uphold safety protocols
- Attend and participate in regular safety meetings and ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations

- Licensed as a Heavy Equipment Technician, Motive Power Technician, or Diesel Technician
- A basic knowledge of all mechanical systems, including diesel engines, gas engines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical systems
