Donna Watt Insurance and Financial Services Inc., a successful Desjardins agent, has been serving customers in the Ottawa Valley and Ontario’s north for more than 20 years. We provide auto, business, home, property and life insurance, along with living benefits.

We are recruiting an Insurance Account Representative. This is a permanent, full-time position.

We are looking for a motivated, people-focused professional to join our growing team. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through value-based conversations.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop new leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs
• Provide needs-based insurance reviews and educate clients on available coverage options
• Build trusted relationships through genuine care, clear communication, and follow-up
• Support clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims inquiries
• Work closely with the Agent to achieve individual and team marketing goals
• Confidently introduce additional lines of protection to help clients strengthen their overall insurance strategy

• A client-first mindset with strong listening and communication skills
• Empathy, reliability, and a desire to help people make informed decisions
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and strong attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment rooted in integrity, kindness, and excellence
• OTL-RIBO license (or willingness to obtain) for auto and home insurance
• LLQP license (or willingness to obtain) for life insurance
• Licensing support and guidance is provided
