E.T.M. Industries Inc. (established in 1977) is a diversified manufacturing facility providing CNC-machined and plastic injection precision components and assemblies to the aircraft, space, military, automotive, mining, telecommunications, and medical industries. We are strategically located in Renfrew, less than an hour from Ottawa.

E.T.M. Industries is currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector. This is a full-time position working a rotating shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect manufactured parts, assemblies, and materials using precision tools (i.e., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Conduct visual inspections for defects, cosmetic issues, and workmanship quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Test and measure products to verify dimensional accuracy and functionality.
• Accept or reject materials and finished goods based on inspection results.
• Record inspection data, complete reports, and maintain documentation in quality systems.
• Identify, tag, and segregate nonconforming materials; initiate NCRs.
• Recommend adjustments to production processes when defects are found.
• Perform random inspections and First Article Inspections (FAI).

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with measurement tools (i.e., micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Understanding of GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing)
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with production teams
• Criminal background check

Rotating Shifts

• Week 1: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 3:00pm, Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm
•  Week 2: Monday - Thursday 12:00pm - 10:30pm
