We are currently recruiting for Asphalt Workers. These are full-time, seasonal positions working Monday-Friday, 50 hours (or more) per week. Some of this work is out-of-town.
The Asphalt Worker spreads asphalt using a rake while blending and leveling any seams and bumps to create a smooth surface for roads. You will shovel off any excess asphalt to the mix. In some cases, areas will be surfaced by paving machines, and in other areas, it will be the Asphalt Raker’s job to ensure the smooth surface independently using hand tampers.
Someone will do well in this role if they are detail-oriented and enjoy a job that has physical elements to it.
