The Town of Petawawa is recruiting for an Administrative Support-Receptionist. This is a full-time position.

The Town of Petawawa is seeking an individual with excellent communication, computer and organizational skills. Reporting to the Treasurer, the Administrative Support-Receptionist is responsible for providing general reception and cashier services and to support the administration of property taxes, user fees, licenses and accounts receivable. Duties include responding to general inquiries by telephone, email and in person; processing payments and preparing bank deposits; ordering supplies and providing administrative support to the Treasurer.

  • Post-secondary education in office or business administration or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a municipal work environment is considered an asset
Additional Information

Compensation is based on qualifications and experience. The current salary range for this position is $22.60 to $26.59 per hour for a 35-hour work week. The town offers an excellent benefits package.
