As a community-focused law firm, Bradley Law Professional Corporation touches many aspects of life for local residents. We help small businesses establish and grow, and we are involved when people sell or purchase a home. Our lawyers also assist families with changing current relationships (divorces and custody) as well as planned future arrangements (wills and estates.) Bradley Law has three offices in the region – Pembroke, Barry’s Bay, and Deep River. We work collaboratively to provide professional and trusted legal services across Renfrew County.

We are recruiting for a Receptionist to join our firm in Deep River. This is a part-time position that could lead to a full-time role in the summer of 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • General Receptionist duties include:
  • The overall management of our reception space
  • Greeting clients, answering phones, taking messages, and scheduling appointments
  • General administrative duties including photocopying filing, and data retention
  • Preparing couriers and attending at the post office and bank
  • Organizing and maintaining client files
  • Transcribing and preparing legal documents
  • We have an excellent staff across three locations who work collaboratively to provide high-quality work that supports a variety of client needs.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in an office setting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Wordperfect
  • Excellent computer, customer service and telephone skills
  • Ability to handle difficult situations and sensitive information
  • Superior time management skills
  • An Ontario driver’s license and daily access to a personal vehicle
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a legal assistant program or office assistant program is not necessary but is an asset
