The Renfrew County Real Estate Board (RCREB) is recruiting for an Assistant to the Executive Officer. This is a part-time position working three days per week from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Additional hours may be required.
The Assistant to the Executive Officer supports day-to-day operations. assisting with various administrative, event planning, and membership-related tasks. This role involves working closely with the Executive Officer, board members, and volunteers to ensure smooth operations of RCREB activities.
The Assistant to the Executive Officer will handle a variety of responsibilities, including trademark checks, membership support, event coordination, social media management, and communication with members and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular trademark compliance checks to ensure members adhere to Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) standards.
- Track and manage listing audits from the Ottawa Real Estate Board (OREB).
- Support the Executive Officer and volunteers in organizing special events, including the annual golf tournament and charity Christmas luncheon.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of member meetings, including creating materials, managing registration, and arranging room setups.
- Create and update social media content to engage RCREB members and the public.
- Update and maintain the RCREB website as required.
- Notify OREB of membership changes (e.g., new, retired, reinstated members).
- Provide support to members by managing requests for open house signage, stickers, lockboxes, and other items sold at the RCREB office.
- Conduct new member orientations and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with RCREB members and the public.
- Participate in Zoom meetings as required.
- Coordinate venue bookings for special events and meetings.
- Assist in creating and distributing a monthly newsletter to keep members informed of relevant updates and news.
- Perform Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) license checks to ensure compliance.
- Maintain inventory tracking to ensure office supplies are adequately stocked.
- Provide MLS® listing support to members as needed.
- Assist the Executive Officer with additional tasks and projects as required.
- Ensure the office remains tidy and organized at all times.
