We're currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a DZ Delivery Driver-Yard Associate. This is a full-time position.
This dual-role position combines safe and timely delivery of building materials to customers with hands-on support in the lumber yard. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors and operating equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a DZ class vehicle to deliver lumber and building materials to customer sites
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained
- Assist in loading and unloading deliveries using forklifts or manually
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Follow all transportation and safety regulations
- Load and unload building materials for customers and delivery vehicles
- Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely (training available)
- Maintain yard organization and cleanliness
- Assist customers with locating and loading products
- Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies
