The Renfrew County District School Board is currently recruiting for a Registered Behaviour Analyst. This is a full-time, contract position.
The Registered Behaviour Analyst will take a lead role, along with other registered behaviour analysts, in coordinating and supporting the efforts of multi-disciplinary school teams in providing consultation, training, and resource development on effective applied behaviour analysis strategies to support students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and others as required. This position will also collaborate in the development of the after school skills dDevelopment programs across RCDSB.
Duties:
- Develop, deliver and evaluate training programs and strategies at the school and school board levels
- Build capacity among school-based personnel
- Enhance collaboration and cooperation between community-based service providers and schools
- Consult with teachers, school staff, student and parents
- Provide applied behaviour analysis expertise to the special education department
- Establish productive working relationships with regional and provincial organizations linked to serving and supporting children with autism
- Liaise with community partners and the ministry
- Provide behavioural consultation and/or assessment regarding behavioural strategies and interventions at the school level for individual students|
- Support the work of inclusion support assistants
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Travel throughout the board's jurisdiction required with occasional travel to meetings throughout the province

Salary: The annual salary grid range is $79,779 - $98,576 per year (pro-rated to length of assignment).
