Your Contribution

Our Madawaska mill site is seeking talent to fill entry-level Sawmill Worker positions. These are full-time positions working 44 hours per week. The day shift is Monday to Thursday, 6:00am-3:30pm and Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm.

In this role, you will join a team of operators, and maintenance specialists in the processing and delivery of lumber orders.  As your career progresses you will learn how to operate the many types of equipment in our mill and train in roles that best suit your career goals and individual strengths.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Stack, strap, and wrap bundles of lumber
  • General housekeeping duties (e.g., keeping tallies of lumber bundles processed)
  • Clean lockout areas during work stoppages

Additional Information

Compensation is the starting wage for the day shift. A comprehensive benefit plan is available after a probationary period.
