Work with a team in an environment where you contribute to the success of an organization. Magellan Aerospace Haley is recruiting for Production Workers. These are full-time positions. The ideal candidate will be able to work a shift rotation (currently Monday-Friday morning and afternoon shifts, but subject to change based upon business needs).

Responsibilities:

• Receiving work assignments for tasks
• Inspecting parts for defects and accuracy
• Sanding parts to create smooth finishes
• Moving parts from one department to another
• Removing sand from casting parts
• Dipping parts in chemicals to seal the alloy and prevent rusting
• Packaging parts to be shipped to global locations
• Performing other duties as assigned

• A high school diploma, GED certificate or equivalent training and experience
• Able to wear a respirator
• Manual dexterity and depth perception to perform remote handling of various materials and parts
• Extended periods of standing at a workstation on the cement production floor
• Wear appropriate protective personal equipment such as hearing protection, CSA-approved steel-toed footwear, safety glasses, etc.

Security Requirements:

• We conduct a criminal record check on all new hires
• We conduct a government controlled goods program check on all new hires
• Must be able to give three references to verify your identity
