The mission of Bernadette McCann House (BMH), an accredited organization serving Renfrew County, is to work for change that will end abuse by providing safety, support and education to all those who experience abuse. Our services include an emergency residential program for women and children, community outreach, support services for children, groups and workshops.
Specifically, our residential program offers a short-term emergency 16-bed shelter for women and children fleeing an abusive relationship.
We are currently recruiting for a Bilingual Transitional Support Caseworker. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Reporting to the Outreach Supervisor, this position provides supports and services to women and their dependents who have experienced abuse, including survivors of human trafficking, that will enable them to access safe and stable housing, as well as relevant supports such as court support.
