We are a fully accredited facility, offering surgical, medical, obstetric and complex continuing care. Special inpatient services include an emergency department, diagnostic imaging, hemo and peritoneal dialysis, oncology, sleep laboratory, special care unit, palliative care, pastoral care and more. The hospital has an extensive ambulatory care program with over 30,000 emergency and clinic visits per year.

We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker. This is a temporary, full-time position with our Nephrology and Diabetes Program.

Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate or Master's degree in social work or equivalent experience
  • Member of the OCSWSSW, or a related professional organization
  • Ability to work effectively and provide care within a team environment, according to the patient care plan
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with clients with diabetes will be considered a strong asset
  • As the program is designated under the French Language Services Act, bilingualism will also be considered an asset
