We are recruiting for an Associate Financial Advisor. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work option.

The Opportunity:

The Associate Financial Advisor is responsible for outbound prospecting, client contact and sales of life, group and wealth products. The Associate Financial Advisor will identify prospects in personal and business markets, determine needs and make informed product recommendations.

Additional ways to have an impact in this role include:

  • Providing regular client reviews as a trusted advisor
  • Build awareness of all lines of business that could positively impact the needs of the client
  • Complete front-line risk assessment and selection
  • Contribute to marketing ideas to meet goals and better serve client needs
  • Respond to and investigate client questions
Qualifications
  • Life and mutual fund licenses are required
  • General or other insurance license(s) may be required depending on the focus for the role.
  • Meet all provincial licensing requirements and obtain continuing education to maintain all licenses
  • A minimum of two years of sales experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance products and strong underwriting skills are assets
  • A valid driver’s license and insurance
