Victim Services of Renfrew County is now recruiting Volunteer Crisis Responders for our Spring 2018 Training. Volunteer Crisis Responders assist police and fire services in the community by providing on-site crisis support to victims in Renfrew County 24/7.


  • Work in partnership with the police, fire and emergency services to meet the short-term needs of victims of crime and tragic circumstances
  • Provide emotional support, practical assistance and referrals to community resources

Training Information:

  • Group interview and Information session will be held on March 28, 2018 at 6:00pm - 9:15pm
  • 10 weeks of Crisis Intervention Training
  • Training will be held weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm - 9:15pm
  • Training begins on April 4, 2018 and runs until June 13, 2018
  • TrainingĀ location isĀ 1766 Barr Line (between Cobden and Eganville)
