ontrac Employment Resource Services provides professional and confidential services to those seeking employment and training, as well as local employers seeking assistance in their hiring and training needs.
The PACE (Prepare. Achieve. Connect. Employ.) Program is designed to assist youth (18+) with higher support needs and persons with disabilities in developing essential life and workplace skills. Through one-on-one guidance, hands-on workshops, and individualized goal setting, participants complete 20 hours of employment readiness workshops and activities in a supportive, flexible learning environment
The Opportunity
ontrac Employment Resource Services, Renfrew office, is recruiting a PACE Program Coordinator & Job Developer Supporter. This is a full-time position at 35 hours per week. We are looking for someone who can assume this role by August 17, 2026 or sooner.
This blended full-time position is primarily responsible for coordinating and delivering the PACE
Program while also providing flexible support to ontrac’s job development services. This role will lead the day-to-day delivery of the PACE program, including participant intake, employment-readiness workshops, individualized coaching, goal setting, case management, and community outreach. The successful candidate will also develop knowledge and experience in employer engagement, job matching, workplace placements and retention support.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate group workshops focused on employment readiness and workplace skills.
- Provide individualized coaching and support, identifying and supporting smart goals and employment readiness plans.
- Work collaboratively with employment coaches, community partners and referral organizations to promote PACE in the community.
- Develop knowledge of job development services through training, mentoring, and practical experience.
- Provide support with employer outreach, job matching, hiring activities, placements, and follow-up.
- Build positive relationships with local employers and assist in supporting successful workplace transitions.
- Remain informed about labour market needs, employment resources and community supports.

- Previous professional experience in coaching adults and/or youth within the field of employment with case management responsibilities is a strength
- Previous professional experience in working with marginalized populations, youth at risk, persons with disabilities, etc., is a strength
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation, or the ability to travel as required for the role
- On occasion, participating in before and after-hours activities
- A collaborative individual who demonstrates enthusiasm in meeting expectations and standards
- Customer-focused and a high level of professionalism
- Value in being part of a cohesive team
- Thrive in a results-oriented environment, puts people first, and engages respectfully with clients from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
- Willingness to participate in ongoing company learning
