We are recruiting for a Painter on a permanent basis.

Additional job details.

• A valid red seal journeyperson’s certification in the painting and decorating trade or a secondary school diploma, or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience
• Experience in working as a painter in a maintenance or construction environment
• Experience in operating and maintaining a variety of tools and equipment
• A valid, non-graduated, and unrestricted provincial or territorial driver’s licence
• Able to obtain a valid DND 404 driver’s license
• Wear personal protective equipment
• May be required to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, scaffolding and work from heights
• Willingness to be on a standby or a call-in list and asked to respond after hours within one hour of being called in
• Willingness to work overtime including weekends
• Willingness to travel to undertake training as required
• Willing and able to lift 34 kg (75 lbs)
• English essential
