MacKay Manor is a publicly funded, non-profit organization providing residential addiction treatment and community-based addiction supports across Renfrew County, Lanark County, Ottawa, and provincially. We offer a range of programming, a 17-bed program for men in Renfrew and a 14-bed program for women in Ottawa. In addition, we offer the STOP program, community withdrawal management services and the addiction supportive housing program.Â

We are recruiting for an experienced Chartered Professional Accountant to provide financial oversight and strategic support. This is a flexible, part-time (15-22 hours per week) opportunity ideal for an experienced CPA seeking meaningful, mission-driven work within a respected community organization that has been operating for more than 50 years. This is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly financial statements and variance reporting
- Ensure compliance with Ontario Health and ministry funding agreements
- Monitor restricted funding and grant reporting (including ARF)
- Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
- Prepare year-end working papers and liaise with external auditors
- Support board and finance committee reporting
- Provide oversight of the Administrative Assistant’s daily financial duties, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll coordination, and internal controls
- Strengthen financial systems and processes
