Whitewater Physiotherapy has been providing clinic-based physiotherapy in Cobden since 2023, and private in-home physiotherapy throughout Renfrew County since 2013. Located in Whitewater Region, we are on the doorstep of many of the best outdoor adventures our country has to offer: paddling on the Ottawa River, hiking in Gatineau or Algonquin parks, skiing in the Laurentian or Calabogie hills, boating on myriad local lakes or cycling our quiet country roads. Whitewater Physiotherapy is seeking an energetic and self-motivated physiotherapist to join their team.
Position Details
The successful applicant will provide a mix of clinic-based and in-home physiotherapy depending on the skill set, referral demand and staffing. Clientele includes motor vehicle trauma, elderly mobility impairment, stroke and other neurological rehab, injured workers, armed forces personnel/veterans, post-surgical rehab, developmental disabilities, sports injuries and orthopaedic conditions.
The treatment team currently includes two other physiotherapists, a physiotherapy assistant and a registered kinesiologist who work on contract for suitable home visit cases. Community visits are typically arranged at the client's home, but may also be at local pools, fitness centres, retirement homes, long-term care homes, hospitals, workplaces, rafting locations or mobility equipment stores. The clinic is well-equipped and is located in a fully accessible medical building.

- Registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Own vehicle and valid Ontario driver's licence
- Current malpractice insurance
- Effective communication with referral sources and stakeholders (i.e. surgeons, physicians, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, mobility equipment vendors, adjusters, case managers, lawyers, POAs)
- Clinic and home visit physiotherapy experience an asset, along with strong manual therapy and exercise-based treatment skills
- ADP Authorizer for mobility devices is an asset

Position Advantages: What We Offer:
