Riverview Heights Retirement Residence is an independent living seniors' residence which opened in 2008. Riverview Heights is currently recruiting for a Director of Care. This is a full-time, permanent position.
The Director of Care will lead clinical operations in our retirement residence. You will oversee resident care services, guide the nursing team, and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality of life for residents.
Responsibilities of this position:
- Lead and support nursing and care staff (RPNs, UCP, PSWs)
- Oversee resident assessments and care planning
- Ensure compliance with Ontario retirement home regulations
- Maintain quality assurance and continuous improvement programs
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and external partners
- Manage staffing, training, and performance standards
