Smitty’s Home Hardware in Pembroke is a family owned and operated hardware and building supply company. We offer a wide range of services including home and cottage building designs, kitchen design and installation, key cutting, propane tank exchange and more. Located in Laurentian Valley between Pembroke and Petawawa, open seven days a week.

We are currently recruiting for a Student Sales Associate. This is a part-time position that includes weekday and weekend shifts.

The Student Sales Associate will help customers in the store obtain the items they need. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in enhancing customer service skills in an enjoyable environment. Additional responsibilities include:

• Receiving product and stocking shelves
• Cleaning and organizing products and displays
• Providing excellent customer service
• Merchandising
• Performing other duties as required

• A positive attitude and solid work ethic
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in sales, retail or customer service is an asset
• Open to learning about new products and services
• Flexible availability for work
