We are recruiting for two Summer Student General Labourers. These positions are 40 hours per week, running 16 weeks from May through August.

The Summer Student General Labourers work with the pubic works department and perform a variety of duties. These include road construction and repair, general maintenance, grass cutting and horticultural duties, surveying and completion of condition surveys.

• A valid G2 driver’s license (minimum)
• Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and ratepayers
• Be a team player as well as work independently
• Experience in construction and operating landscape maintenance equipment such as weed eaters, lawnmowers, etc. is an asset
