We are currently recruiting for a Dietary Aide. This is a permanent, part-time position.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Provide each resident in the dining room with their prescribed diet and food choices in a timely manner at meal service
• Plate resident meals
• Ensure food is handled using safe food handling practices
• Operation of the equipment in the dietary department including cleaning and sanitizing
• Cleaning and setting the dining area
• Report resident meal service issues to supervisory staff

• Experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Solid communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• General physical wellness including the ability to stand, lift, etc.
• Willingness to complete food safety certification within the first year of hire
• Food service worker diploma or willingness to obtain a diploma within 3 years of hire
