Valley Manor is a dynamic and progressive, 90-bed long-term care home. Our not-for-profit, fully accredited facility, offers quality nursing care in a friendly and welcoming environment. Our mission is empowering every person to provide compassionate resident-centered care in a diverse family environment.

We are currently recruiting for Registered Nurses. There are full-time and part-time positions available.

In addition to providing patient care, our Registered Nurses have these responsibilities:

• The ability to supervise, and provide direction to registered practical nurses, personal support workers and other staff
• The ability to multi-task, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• A commitment to providing resident-focused care in a long-term care setting
• Complete mandatory education as assigned
• Have a desire for ongoing learning
• Attend staff meetings

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Vulnerable sector check, valid within the last 6 months or can obtain one
• Post-RN education and experience in gerontology or a related field is preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and assessment skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Current CPR certification
• Experience with Point-Click-Care and electronic MAR is very beneficial
• Knowledge related to the Long-Term Care Homes Act 79/10
