ConnectWell Community Health is a fully accredited health centre providing primary health care, health promotion programs, and illness prevention services. At ConnectWell, the health and well-being of every individual, every family, and every community matters. Our staff includes family doctors, nurse practitioners and nurses, a social worker, a respiratory therapist, a chiropodist, a health promoter, and administrative support. Together, we provide a wide range of primary care and health promotion programs and services to area residents.

ConnectWell Community Health is recruiting for a Maintenance Worker. Hours of work will be developed in collaboration with the successful candidate to ensure a healthy work-life balance.  A schedule of work will be based on the organization’s hours of operation and program requirements.

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for enhancing and maintaining the cleanliness of the exterior of the building, parking lots and walkways. This role will perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance.

  • Three to five years of experience with maintenance or in a janitorial field
  • Experience with small repairs
  • Experience using maintenance tools
  • Effective and professional communication
  • Flexibility in the completion of job-related tasks
