Ottawa Valley Pentecostal Camp (OVPC) is a seasonal retreat center and campground open for reservations and summer camps from the May long weekend until October 31.  With families and children passing throughout our ground’s during our operating months, we strive to hire team members with a heart for providing a warm and inviting atmosphere, both through their attitudes and work ethics.

We are recruiting for a Grounds and Housekeeping Assistant. This is a full-time position from May 1 to August 31, with the opportunity to extend. 

The role of the Grounds and Housekeeping Assistant is to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for guests of OVPC. Cleaning and maintenance of accommodations, public buildings and waterfront will be required, in addition to regular lawn care.

• Work experience in the housekeeping or maintenance industry is an asset
• Current WHMIS certificate (or agreement to complete by May)
• Experience or willingness to learn how to operate equipment
• Ability to multi-task and work in high-pressure situations
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work individually and in a team
